DANA ANGELO
Dana Angelo originally hails from the majestic state of New Jersey. After high school, she spent nine years in New York City. She received a B.A. in Writing from New School in 2008. Along with creating numerous plays, sketches and material for drag queens, she also wrote and performed in The Nerds of Prey, the two-woman show Dear Dana & Lisa..., and acted in various stage shows, such as The Room: Live! and three incarnations of the Monkees-themed musical Here We Come..., where she bent her gender to play Mike Nesmith.
She moved to Chicago in April of 2014 and immersed herself in its comedy scene as a stand-up comedian and the Advertising Coordinator for The Second City Training Center. She also freelances, and her work has been featured online at Chicago RedEye, The Second City Network, Maxim, RantLifestyle, Listverse and BustedTees. She hopes to write for television one day.
